About Me
dressing plain clothes up with jewelry

I love to wear all black all of the time. I have several different suits, dresses and outfits that are black from head to toe. To jazz up the plain black clothing, I use jewelry and accessories. If you like to wear plain clothing and feel kind of bland as you walk around through the day, it is time for you to look into wearing jewelry. My blog will provide you with several tips for accessorizing without spending a fortune on jewelry that will make your traditional, plain clothing look dull and boring instead of increasing your sense of style.

Class reunions are a lot of fun, and it is great to see everyone you have not seen in a long time.  If you want to make this night extra special for yourself, below are some tips on how you can make yourself feel great, as well as impress everyone there.

Statement Necklace

A statement necklace is a large necklace that has an excessive amount of beads, dangles, or details that is meant to be the defining, main piece of your outfit.  It can be worn no matter if you are dressing casual or are really dressing up. You can wear a choker statement necklace or wear one that is in a longer length.  If you want the necklace to really stand out, do not wear things like oversized earrings, a lot of rings or bangles. This is because they will distract the necklace. If you would like to wear other jewelry, wear things like simple hoops or stud earrings and a single bracelet. You will be noticed by everyone you walk past while wearing this type of necklace.

Luxury Car

Because you went to a small school, you are likely having your reunion at a small venue or maybe even at your old high school. If so, people will easily see you drive up or see you getting out of your car. Unless you already drive a luxury car, consider renting one to take to the reunion.  People will be impressed with you, and you do not have to tell them it is a rental. Below are two tips to ensure renting a luxury car goes smoothly for you:

Owned by the Rental Company

Make sure the rental company leases/owns the luxury car, instead of a private owner. You may think renting a private owner's car can get you out of some of the legalities of a rental company, such as financing and insurance, but in the long run you may end up spending more money. This is because if you are in an accident, your personal insurance company may not cover you, and the private owner of the car will likely not.

Know the Mileage Requirements

Make sure you understand the terms and agreements of your agreement with the rental company before you sign anything. Luxury cars may be different to rent when compared to a standard rental. For example, they may not give you unlimited mileage. If you go over the amount listed in the agreement, this would be extra money coming out of your pocket when you return the car.

Make sure you call the person that is setting up the reunion to see what you should wear. You never know if it will be very dressy or very casual.
